  • Overview

    We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounting Manager, to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. Candidate must be organized and able to multitask different projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage a team of 5
    • Support month-end and year-end close process
    • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
    • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
    • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
    • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
    • Manage all accounting operations including, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, fixed assets, treasury
    • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
    • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
    • Additional duties as necessary

    Qualifications

    • CPA preferred
    • Degree in Accounting
    • Non-Profit accounting experience a plus
    • Experience with creating financial statements
    • Proven working experience as a financial manager
    • 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
    • Thorough knowledge of non-profit accounting principles and procedures
    • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
    • Excellent accounting software (Dynamics GP) user and administration skills
    • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc..)
