Children’s Learning Center is a 4410 preschool contracted by the Department of Education.

 

Children’s Learning Center provides special needs services to children 2.9 years to 5 years of age.  We offer a unique educational experience by using a variety of learning approaches to meet the individual needs of the students.  Our program utilizes the creative curriculum classroom model.

Responsibilities

A person selected for this position will be responsible for assisting the classroom’s Lead-Teacher with general supervision and management of a class of children. This candidate should have a warm and friendly personality and be sensitive to the needs of young children.

 

  • Assist in planning and implementing the daily program under the direction of the Lead Teacher.
  • Assist in planning and preparing the learning environment, setting up centers and preparing materials and supplies.
  • Supervise the classroom and children when the Lead Teacher is out of the room.
  • Participate in professional organizations that work for the improvement of early childhood education.
  • Supervise and ensure the safety of all children.
  • Plan and work collaboratively with staff and Parents/Caregivers.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Level 1 Certification - Teaching Assistant.
  • 1-year experience working with young children preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English language proficiency preferred.

Salary:

 

$ 35,494.00
