Overview

Program Summary: Rising Ground will support to the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) by providing residential, medical, educational, and mental health services to Unaccompanied Children in need of a higher level of care, such as Staff Secure, in an out of network agreement.  Case Management responsibilities will be held by an agency providing services to Unaccompanied Children under ORR.

 

Summary/Objective:  The Administrator on Duty (AOD) Control Room Monitor is responsible for the oversight of the movement, and the integral role in the safety and security of all persons supported, employees and visitors of the facility by monitoring the live footage of the facility 24/7.

Annual Salary

$51,906.00

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain communication with staff and assist with monitoring staff and resident locations in the facility
  • Obtain census information on each shift and record in the Communication logbook.
  • Monitor and supervise visits for all UC by approved sponsors and/or family members
  • Supports facility in the compliance of regulations, inspection readiness and ratio coverage
  • Ongoing communication with the management and staff on duty
  • Monitors all activities taking place in the facility, keeping a keen eye for safety
  • Communicates with on-site personnel regarding any activity which could result in an incident.
  • Monitors visits with individuals visiting person supported
  • Pulls prior footage and reviews as needed for Program Director or other authorized personnel.
  • Remains alert at all times as to not be distracted from footage.
  • Covers for members of the Control Center team on breaks
  • Responds to emergency situations in the facility
  • Immediately reports any incident, accident, illness, or injury
  • Maintains facility keys
  • Allows for entry and exits from the facility
  • Responsible for adhering to all ACS, OCFS and agency regulations.
  • Completes log reports of activity
  • Informs the Case Planner and supervisors of any issues related to the youth or their families as they become aware of such information
  • Ability to work various hours and days of the week

Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required
  • Prior relevant experience in Surveillance or security
  • Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) a plus
  • Possession of a valid vehicle operator’s license and clean driving record
