Responsibilities

  • To provide direct services to children assess as needing therapeutic services.
  • Attending FTC and other related case conferences for children assessed as needing clinical support.
  • Assists foster parents and children in carrying our treatment plan.
  • Make home visits and collateral contacts to meet ACS and OCFS requirements.
  • Provide in home and in community behavior management, therapeutic and developmental support to children with complex needs.
  • Support specific behavioral goals as developed by treatment team.
  • Create, develop, and implement daily experiences for the children that promote self-esteem, socialization skills, and prepare children for family unification.
  • Performs child/youth care functions relevant to daily home care, ADL skills, scheduling and setting plan for respite and crisis intervention.
  • Document progress notes in CONNECTIONS.
  • Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS, Degree with 2 years’ experience working with children and families,
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer Proficient, Knowledge of Connections
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

 

Salary Rate:

$46,000
