Job Summary: Specialists will deliver the ParentChild+ program model at Rising Ground which promotes early literacy with children aged 16 months to 5 years and their families. Using a gentle approach, specialists will model reading, playing, and conversation activities using books and educational toys to parents with their children in “play” sessions in the comfort of their homes. "Play" sessions will include modeling to parents how they can interact with their children during reading by engaging in open ended questions and promoting school readiness skills.
Required: High School Diploma or GED,
Preferred: Early Childhood in one on one or group setting and community service work experience. Candidates should demonstrate good communication and social skills.

Move boxes of toys and books and pack bags for families. Monthly delivery of educational toys, books to program family homes.
