The Counselor serves as a liaison between the agency and the school community and provides onsite support through training, parent outreach, psycho-education and engages in other non-clinical services. The individual is required to rotate in-person between the schools in the designated cluster.

• Work with school administrators, teachers, and parents to identify service gaps and available resources.
• Engage in community outreach to develop and sustain internal and external partnership relationships and to provide support and opportunities that meet the identified needs of the students and their families.
• Support clinical staff in the coordination of group facilitation, school events, and service provision.
• Attend and coordinate school mental health related meetings with internal and external partners.
• Assist with administrative tasks and program evaluation (including case assignments, data collection and reporting).
• Engage in professional development and certification and training opportunities (i.e. Mental Health First Aid Training).

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, child development, psychology or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of child services related work.
• Be a member of the cluster community or have previous experience working with the populations served preferred.

Starting salary $60,000/Annually

Monday - Friday (35) hour work week.
