Responsibilities

About the Role:

An administrative clerk performs a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support an organization’s daily operations.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Provide administrative support to the SVP of Community Programs & Partnerships • Community Programs and his senior team
  • Manage the front office of the Rising Ground administrative offices
  • Greet and assist clients, visitors and employees visiting the office
  • Register visitors in building’s security system
  • Manage conference room reservations
  • Answer phones and provide optimal customer service to callers
  • Work with mail clerk to receive, sort and distribute correspondence and packages
  • Report any physical plant or safety concerns to the appropriate department
  • Assist with stocking, storing and maintaining inventory of supplies
  • Maintain and distribute cabinet keys
  • Cover front desk coordinator as needed
  • Assist with other administrative projects as assigned

 

Qualifications

Your Qualifications

  • At least two years-experience in an administrative support role
  • At least one year experience managing a front office or in a customer service driven role
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook for email correspondence and scheduling
  • Overall proficiency using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT)

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday in our Headquarters at 1333 Broadway office in Midtown Manhattan. Work hours options are 8:30am – 5:00pm. 

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to work in-person in New York City (NY) fie days per week
