Responsibilities

About the Role

In collaboration with the Director of Training and Staff Operations, the Workforce Development Coordinator is responsible for the training and professional development of the organization's employees. This position assesses company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identifies and arranges suitable training solutions for employees. This position actively searches, creatively designs, and implements effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize performance.

 

What You’ll Do

· Collaborate with Director of Training and Staff Operations to design e-learning courses, career path resources, Professional Development workshops.

· Design and develop programs and curriculum, partner with internal subject matter experts and/or external vendors to achieve defined training, learning and development objectives.

· Work with Director of Training and Staff Operations to manage and update Rising Ground’s Managers’ University Training Program.

· Collaborate with Human Resources to assist with career mapping and other workforce development activities.

· Conduct agency-wide and department specific training and development needs assessments.

· Assist with agency-wide training and other special projects when needed.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. (Experience may be used to substitute education)

· Experience designing and implementing employee development programs.

· Experience creating and delivering training programs at all levels, with exceptional presentation skills.

· Three years of experience developing and running online training programs.

· Two years of management experience is strongly preferred.

· A warm, engaging, accessible style.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday in our Headquarters at 1333 Broadway office in Midtown Manhattan. Work hours options are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, 9:30 am - 5:30 pm, 10 am - 6 pm.

 

Additional Requirements:

· Authorized to work in the U.S.

· Ability to work in-person in New York City (NY) for at least 3 days or more per week.

· Ability to travel to other Rising Ground sites
