Rising Ground is headquartered in New York City. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the work and coordinating the work of the General Services Department.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist with help desk tickets as assigned.
  • Process all requisitions, invoices, purchase orders as needed.
  • Order and inventory department supplies and coordinate disbursement of supplies.
  • Copy, distribute and file documentation in a timely manner.
  • Assists in the implementation of department policies and procedures.
  • Answer phones and communicate information to co-workers, vendors, contractors as needed.
  • Order supplies for the Maintenance and General Services departments.
  • Maintain permits up to date. (Towing, Elevator, Pool)
  • Assist with any other administrative request as needed for the department

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED, BA degree preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Skilled in working with Microsoft Office especially Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Bilingual preferred - Spanish.
