About the Role

To provide transportation for children, foster parents, birth parents, caseworkers and other agency staff in the course of agency business.

• Transport staff, children, foster parents and birth parents when needed.
• Upkeep of all Agency vehicles under Enhanced Family Foster Care Program (including registrations, inspections, parking permits, car washes, oil changes, etc.).
• Assist staff with client removals and help transport children’s belongings.
• Handle all inter-office mail daily and take mail to post office.
• Provide transportation to prison locations with workers.
• Long distance trips; transport to such areas as Albany, Pennsylvania and other out-of -state locations.
• Set up monthly Agency sign out form, collect gas receipts and trip sheets.
• Other related miscellaneous duties assigned by Administrative Coordinator and Director.
• Mandatory overtime as needed.

• High School Diploma / GED accepted
• Valid NYS Driver License
• Safe Driving Record
• Bilingual (English / Spanish) a plus

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday at 500 Bergen Avenue, Bronx, NY . Work hours options are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, 9:30 am - 5:30 pm, 10 am - 6 pm.

Additional Requirements:

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work in-person in New York City (NY) for at least 3 days or more per week.
• Ability to travel to other Rising Ground sites (if required)
